  • 1/2 cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 drop Red Food Coloring optional

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Strawberry Sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine the thawed frozen strawberries and 1 cup of water over medium heat. Mix together ½ cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Stir in the sugar and cornstarch mixture, bring to a gentle boil, and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Make Cheesecake Filling: Beat together 8 ounces of cream cheese and ½ cup of sugar until smooth. Gradually add 2 tablespoons of flour, then blend in one egg, ½ cup of sour cream, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Create Egg Wash: Whisk together ½ cup of water and one egg until blended. This will help seal the wontons.
  4. Assemble Wontons: Lay a wrapper flat, paint edges with egg wash, spoon cheesecake filling into the center, fold, and pinch tightly.
