Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 cup of butter, then mix in 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
  3. Add in 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold in 3/4 cup of flour until just incorporated.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of crushed Oreo cookies and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with extra Oreo pieces.
  7. Bake for approximately 32 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Let cool for 15 minutes before lifting out and cooling completely on a wire rack.
