  • 2 Pie Crust can use store-bought or homemade

Step-by-Step Instructions for Traditional Meat Pie
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a pie plate by laying down one of the pie crusts.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the onions, garlic, and carrots, and sauté until softened.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Let this simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust. Place the second pie crust on top and crimp the edges. Cut slits in the top crust.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Cover edges with foil if necessary.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
