  • 1 medium Avocado Fresh is best
  • 1 medium Onion Use red onion for milder flavor
  • ¼ cup Cilantro Can substitute with parsley
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Other Vegetables Optional; e.g., chopped spinach, diced bell peppers, or shredded carrots
For the Wrap
  • 4 large Tortillas Warm them up before assembly

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients, rinse and drain black beans, and chop onion and cilantro finely. Mash avocado until creamy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine black beans, chopped onion, cilantro, and chili powder with mashed avocado.
  3. Preheat a skillet over low heat. Warm tortillas for about 20-30 seconds on each side.
  4. Lay a warm tortilla flat, spoon filling onto the center, fold, and roll tightly.
  5. For a crispy exterior, return burritos to the skillet on medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve the burritos immediately. Optionally pair with fresh salsa, guacamole, or light salad.
