  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate for drizzling
  • 12 pieces Marshmallows cut in half

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, hot cocoa mix, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix on low speed.
  6. Add the milk to achieve a thick dough.
  7. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Scoop the dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for around 10 minutes until the cookies look slightly underdone.
  10. Press half a marshmallow into each cookie and return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes.
  11. Let cookies cool before drizzling melted chocolate over the tops.
