- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, hot cocoa mix, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix on low speed.
- Add the milk to achieve a thick dough.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Scoop the dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for around 10 minutes until the cookies look slightly underdone.
- Press half a marshmallow into each cookie and return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes.
- Let cookies cool before drizzling melted chocolate over the tops.
