Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop bacon into 1-inch pieces and cook in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (or according to package instructions for fries).
  3. Spread frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  4. Grate the cheddar cheese and finely chop the green onions while fries are baking.
  5. Remove fries from the oven, sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper, then layer with cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, and green onions.
  6. Return loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Drizzle ranch dressing over the loaded fries and garnish with additional green onions if desired. Serve immediately.
