For the Base
  • 2 cups Almond Flour Acts as the main structure; coconut flour is not a 1:1 substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup A natural sweetener; agave syrup is a good alternative.
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil Provides healthy fats; can be replaced with avocado oil.
For the Chocolatey Goodness
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips Essential for that delicious cookie dough flavor.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • 8x8-inch baking pan

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of almond flour, 1/2 cup of maple syrup, and 1/4 cup of melted coconut oil. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  3. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and spread the cookie dough mixture evenly across the bottom.
  4. Place the baking pan in the freezer and let it chill for at least 60 minutes until firm.
  5. Remove the baking pan and lift out the hardened bark using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles to serve.
