Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and press the seams together.
  3. Mix the sugar, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Spread melted butter over the dough, and sprinkle half of the sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
  5. Place the second layer of dough on top and slice into 1-inch wide strips.
  6. Roll each strip tightly from one end to the other to form a cruffin shape.
  7. Dip each rolled cruffin into melted butter and coat with the leftover sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  8. Place cruffins upright in a greased muffin tin and bake for about 20 minutes.
  9. Let the cruffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
