  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Nutmeg can be used as an alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter Salted butter can also be used
Dough
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Homemade dough can also be used
Gooey Center
  • 8 pieces Caramel Candy Chocolate or soft candies can be substituted
Topping
  • to taste Cinnamon Sugar Optional sprinkle on top

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet, add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a round, about 4 inches in diameter.
  4. Spoon filling into each biscuit, add caramel, fold edges, and roll into a ball.
  5. Place balls seam side down in the baking dish, brush tops with melted butter, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar if desired.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm, optionally with ice cream or extra caramel.
