Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Gently fold in the sour cream to the thickened pudding mixture using a spatula.
  3. Slice the angel food cake into cubes and layer half of it in the bottom of a trifle dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of your mixed berries over the angel food cake layer.
  5. Carefully pour half of the pudding mixture over the cake and berry layers.
  6. Create a second layer by repeating with the remaining angel food cake, berries, and pudding mixture.
  7. Spread the whipped topping over the final pudding layer.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
