Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with unsalted butter.
- Layer one sheet of phyllo dough in the baking dish and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with six sheets.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together semolina flour, eggs, granulated sugar, whole milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the phyllo layers evenly.
- Layer the remaining phyllo sheets on top, brushing each with melted butter and lightly scoring the surface.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with warmed honey and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
