Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk together until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, and instant yeast until fully combined.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  5. Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface and roll it to about ¼ inch thickness.
  6. Using a round cutter, cut out donuts from the rolled dough and place them on parchment paper.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to between 170-180°C (340-360°F).
  8. Carefully add donuts to the hot oil in small batches, frying each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  9. In a chilled bowl, combine heavy whipping cream with sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  10. Cut each donut in half horizontally and optionally spread condensed milk on the inner side.
  11. Using a piping bag, fill the cooled donuts with the whipped cream mixture and dust with powdered sugar.
