Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  5. Pour batter into the skillet, cooking until bubbles form on the surface, about 2–3 minutes.
  6. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1–2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
