Step-by-Step Instructions for Oven Roasted Garlic Cabbage Steaks
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage and slice it into ¾-inch thick steaks.
- Combine olive oil with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Generously coat both sides of each cabbage steak with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For air fryer, place the coated cabbage steaks in a single layer and cook for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove and let them cool slightly. Optional: top with Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, or fresh parsley.
