Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out a sheet of thawed puff pastry on a floured surface until it’s about 1/8-inch thick. Place cheese slices and deli ham over the pastry, then top with a second sheet and press to seal.
  3. Cut the layered pastry into 1-inch wide strips and create Christmas tree shapes on wooden skewers, leaving space at the bottom.
  4. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley for the garlic butter glaze.
  5. Brush the garlic butter glaze over each tree and sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Let the trees cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving warm on a platter.
