  • 2 sheets Frozen Puff Pastry Thawed overnight
  • 1.5 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Zesty base
  • 6 slices Deli Ham Thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Gruyère or Sharp Cheddar Cheese Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Thaw two sheets of frozen puff pastry overnight in the refrigerator. Roll each sheet into a rectangle measuring approximately 10x12 inches.
  2. Spread 1½ tablespoons of Dijon mustard over each pastry sheet. Layer six slices of deli ham on top.
  3. Sprinkle 1 cup of grated cheese over the ham.
  4. Tightly roll each sheet into a log. Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Slice the chilled logs into ½-inch thick pieces. Arrange them on the baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
