  • 1 large Onion (sweet or yellow)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (fresh or ground)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil (Peanut, Vegetable, or Avocado)
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce or extra soy with a hint of hoisin

Preparation Steps
  1. Slice beef into thin strips, about ¼ inch thick, and place in a bowl. Add soy sauce and cornstarch, coating the beef. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok over medium-high heat, add oil, and sauté sliced onions for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Increase heat to high, add marinated beef to the wok, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Pour sauce into the wok, stirring to coat and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add bell peppers to the wok, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
