  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together 14 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and ½ cup of packed light brown sugar until creamy.

  4. Gradually mix the reserved dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, then fold in 3 cups of chocolate chips.
