- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, shredded Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Add optional Garlic Powder or Italian Herbs as desired.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick and slice into 1-inch strips.
- Place a spoonful of filling at one end of each pastry strip, fold and twist to form spirals.
- Beat the egg and brush the mixture over the twists for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Keep an eye on them!
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
