- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets and cut into 4 equal squares.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and milk for the egg wash.
- Layer ham and cheese on each pastry square, optionally spreading mustard on the ham.

- Top each stack with another pastry square and seal the edges with a fork.
