Method
 

Making the Apple Fries

  3. Dredge the apple slices in cornstarch, ensuring even coating.

  5. Remove the fried apple fries and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then toss the warm apple fries in the mixture until coated.
  7. Serve the warm apple fries immediately, with caramel sauce for dipping.
