  3. Dredge the apple slices in cornstarch, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Carefully add the coated apple slices to the hot oil in batches, frying each for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove the fried apple fries using a slotted spoon and place onto paper towels to drain excess oil.
