Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine beef broth, butter, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15-18 minutes.
  2. While the rice cooks, season steak strips with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over low heat. Gradually add cream cheese, mixing until melted. Incorporate cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until smooth. Add garlic powder and cayenne to taste.
  4. Assemble bowls with rice at the base, topped with steak strips and queso sauce. Add optional toppings and serve immediately.
