  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 ea lemon juice and zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut cream for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese or vegan cheese

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
For Consistency
  • 1 cup chicken broth or reserved pasta water

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Boil water with salt in a large pot, add linguine, and cook until al dente, reserving a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Lower the heat, add butter, garlic, Dijon mustard, paprika, and lemon juice and zest; cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes, then fold in linguine and parsley.
  6. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water; serve hot garnished with parmesan cheese and parsley.
