Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, packed brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Add melted unsalted butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Peel and chop Granny Smith apples into ¼-inch thick slices. Mix with granulated or brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Spread the apple mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over apples.
